Some may have noticed on social media: The Kingpin- logo has been replaced with something blurry. Today we can announce that Kinpins is history. A new chapter is starting. From now on, the club will be called Apeks.
Changing the name is a part of the process ProUnite started in the company. We agreed that it was time to change the name to create a better and bigger brand.
– We wanted a name that reflected our ambitions and said something about what we wanted to achieve. When Apeks was suggested, everyone immediately knew that that was the new name, CEO Denise Anfinnsen.
Denise Anfinnsen will be the new CEO of Apeks. The former leader of Kingpins (Kenneth Haupseth Johansen) will be the new administrative manager of the sports department in the club.
