We are excited to announce the appointment of Dennis Rytter as its new Head Coach for Apeks Rebels. With this change, Philip, the former Head Coach, will transition to the role of Assistant Coach to support the team’s development under Rytter’s leadership.
Rytter brings a wealth of experience working with academy teams coming into Apeks Rebels, having showcased great development working at Nordavind Talents/00 PROSPECTS since June 2021.
“It’s with great pleasure that I as of today will become the head coach of Apeks Rebels. I have always had the deepest respect for Apeks as a club and I can’t wait to start my journey together with all the great people within the club. I will as always put in a massive amount of work and I can’t wait to get back into the server,” said Dennis Rytter.
Moreover, this transition marks a shift in Apeks Rebels’ strategic direction. With Rytter at the helm, the organization will change its focus for the Rebels project from being Norwegian-based to a broader Nordic talent pool. This shift is due to the realization that the talent pool in Norway is not sufficiently deep, and we no longer prioritize the GG League as highly as we did before.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Rytter to the Apeks Rebels family. His coaching abilities and strategic vision align perfectly with our goals for the Rebels project,” expressed Anders Kjær, COO at Apeks Rebels. “We also extend our gratitude to Philip for his dedicated service as Head Coach and look forward to continuing working with him in his new role as Assistant Coach.”
More announcements about the future of the Apeks Rebels will be coming soon.
