Welcome, Peter

After a great start for our Valorant division, we are now gearing up for some of the most important matches of the Challengers Series. In order to best prepare our team for the challenges ahead, we are thrilled to welcome Peter Valderhaug from Vanir Esports & Entertainment as our new Performance Coach.

I am really happy to be able to help out Apeks and their Valorant roster approaching the Ascension tournament and their journey towards VCT. Some of the tools I bring to the table is various coaching- and visualisation techniques as well as hypnosis and I hope to contribute to the teams communication, culture and stress management. Apeks already has a very strong roster with a fantastic coaching staff and hopefully I can help out the team with adding on just 1% extra and provide a little more psychological safety into their journey.”
– Peter Valderhaug

As a Performance Coach, Peter will be responsible for working with the players to help them achieve their highest level of performance. This includes developing strategies for individual players and the team as a whole, improving communication and teamwork, and optimizing player health and wellness.

“We are thrilled to welcome Peter as our new Performance Coach at Apeks Valorant. As an organization, we are always looking for ways to improve and double down on what works. With Peter’s extensive experience and expertise in esports coaching, we are confident that he will bring value to our team and help us achieve new levels of success.”
